I just started using Pinterest, and it is quickly proving to be a force greater than myself. It’s a great way to quickly create mood boards for client projects, dream homes, future vacation spots, or just things that put you in a good mood. Being a designer, visual stimulation is the fastest way for me to draw a conclusion about the direction of a project, and this is exactly the tool I never knew I needed. I have a few boards set up already, and I’m sure there will be more the the near future. In the meantime, check out Color Happy. Happy Wednesday!

I love it when art can overwhelm you. Even in small-scale, these paintings by Chris Martin have that quality. Needless to say, I’m really excited to see them in full form. Chris Martin’s Painting Big exhibition opens at the Corcoran this weekend and runs through October.
